AI Features Overview
Create Lab Studio includes several AI-powered tools to help writers generate content, maintain consistency, and check quality. This section explains what each feature does and how to use it.
Available AI features​

| Generate location image | Location → Generate Image | Creates a background from the location description |
| Location recommendations | Locations → AI Suggest | Suggests new locations based on your episode's needs |
| Emotional arc analysis | Scene → Analyze Arc | Charts the emotional progression of a scene's dialog |
| Canon check | Episode → Quality Checks | Flags content that violates your world rules |
| Continuity check | Episode → Quality Checks | Finds internal contradictions in the episode |
| Safety check | Episode → Quality Checks | Reviews content against content policy rules |

Rate limiting​
AI features are rate-limited to prevent overuse. If you see a "too many requests" error, wait a minute and try again.
What the AI knows about your project​
All AI features automatically receive your project's:
- World rules — so generated content respects your canon
- Characters — names, descriptions, and traits
- Locations — names and descriptions
This means you don't need to re-explain your universe every time you use an AI feature.
Required permissions​
Different AI features require different permissions. If a button is grayed out, your role may not include the required scope. Contact your admin if you need access.
