Working with Episodes
Creating an episode
- Open a project from the Dashboard
- Click New Episode
- Fill in the episode name, number, description, and target duration
- Click Create
Requires episode:create permission.
Episode statuses
| Status | Meaning | Can be edited? |

| Draft | Work in progress | ✅ Yes |
| Active | In active production | ✅ Yes |
| Completed | Finished and locked | ❌ No (read-only) |
| Paused | Temporarily on hold | ❌ No (read-only) |
When an episode is Completed or Paused, it is locked — you cannot edit its content, record voiceovers, or change creator assignments until an Admin unblocks it.
Editing an episode
Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on the episode card. You can change:
- Name and description
- Episode number
- Status
- Target duration
- Cover image (preview)
Requires episode:edit permission.
Deleting an episode
Click Delete on the episode card. This is permanent — all scenes, blocks, and media associated with the episode will be removed.
Requires episode:delete permission.
Importing an episode
Click Import Episode to bring in an episode from another source.
Requires episode:import permission.
Opening the studio
Click Open on an episode card to enter the Studio — where you create and edit scenes and blocks.
